Co-Host Cole Williams
Listed as one of 8 Black Artists Making Waves (Symphonic Distribution), and having the heart of Bob Marley, soul of Sam Cooke and grit of Etta James (HuffPost) Brooklyn-born, New Orleans raised Cole Williams is a Cultural Architect in music, radio, and advocacy. She is 2025 Elite Ms. Louisiana Petite, host of WWOZ’s Tuesday New Orleans Music Show, and currently starring as the new face and voice of the iconic Chp Fostall commercial.
Cole’s live performance highlights include the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, French Quarter Festival, Joshua Tree Music Festival, World Cafe Live, BAM Cafe Live, and Blue Note. During her musical career, Cole has collaborated with many artists, including Joey Bada$$, Nickedeumus, Somi, Walter “Wolfman” Washington, and Aloe Blacc. Williams is a Swedish Best Live Performance winner, Best of the Beat nominee, and semi-finalist in the 2025 UA competition. Her single, A Better Woman, has gained international recognition with over half a million streams on Spotify, winner in the 2024 International Songwriting Competition.
Aside from music, Cole's work extends beyond music as the Founder of the Greater New Orleans Citizens Relief Team, Producer: CloseUp: Tank And The Bangas and Irma’s Story (WWOZ), and Unsung Heroes. As an actress Williams has appeared on NCIS New Orleans, Big Freedia Means Business Season 2, Sinners, and People We Meet On Vacation.
