Our friends at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation have some exciting free events coming up in NOLA, including the Louisiana Cajun Zydeco Festival May 31st - June 1st, and the Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival October 10th – 12.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation is proud to present the 2025 Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival, honoring the musical heritage of Southwestern Louisiana.

Check it out on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1 outside at the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center [1225 N. Rampart Street, New Orleans, La 70116] for free Zydeco performances all afternoon! Gates open at 2:00pm and live music begins at 3:00pm with Waylon Thibodeaux. Food and cold treats will be available to purchase! Admission is free and open to the public.

Save the date for the Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival – October 10-12, 2025!

The Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival returns to New Orleans' beautiful Lafayette Square Park. The festival begins on Friday, Oct. 10, and continues with two stages of music, lots of great food, and an arts market all day on Saturday, Oct. 11, and Sunday, Oct. 12. 

Performers at the 2025 edition include Devon Allman’s Blues Summit featuring the Devon Allman Project, Larry McCray, Jimmy Hall and Sierra Green, Tab Benoit, Bobby Rush, Little Freddie King and more!

As always, the festival is free and open to the public. To elevate your festival experience, a limited number of VIP tickets are available for purchase. VIP includes private VIP viewing areas, stage seating, a hospitality suite and more!
